Welcome to the Franco-Brits website in the Vaucluse (84)
The "Association Culturelle Franco-Britannique du Comtat Venaissin" is a volunteer organisation which draws from the membership to carry out its activities and to organise events. We have regular social meetings, with optional dinner, and weekly group conversations, for language practice and to create new contacts. Part of our meetings are carried out using video-conferencing.
We are French and English speaking living in or near Carpentras and we delight in learning from each other and helping those new to our region.

The Association's mission is to assist English speaking people in their integration into the area and to help one another to improve their skills in each other's language.
A regular newsletter, in French and in English, distributed to members and posted on this web site, recalls past events and presents a programme for coming months.
The Association is incorporated under the French Law of July 1st, 1901. It is financed by the annual fees paid by its members and a grant from the city of Carpentras.
You are welcome to join us and find out more about this region, meet people and share some pleasant moments. After all that is what Provence is all about.
