Welcome to the Franco-Brits website in the Vaucluse (84)!
Half of our members are English-speaking though not all are British. The other half are French, helping the new arrivals, while practicing their best English. We have monthly social meetings, with optional dinner, and weekly group conversations during school terms, for language practice and to enjoy new contacts.
The "Association Culturelle Franco-Britannique du Comptat Venaissin" was established in 1985 and for more than 30 years we have been helping people integrate into our beautiful region in the Vaucluse. We are both Francophones and Anglophones living in or near Carpentras and we delight in learning from each other.

You are welcome to join us and find out more about this region, meet people and share some pleasant moments. After all that is what Provence is all about.
The Association's mission is to assist English speaking people in their integration into the area and to help English speaking and French members improve their skills in each other's language.
The Association offers Anglophone members assistance when facing administrative or legal issues.
We are a volunteer organisation which draws from the membership to organise events. The Association is incorporated under the French Law of July 1st, 1901. It is financed by the annual fees paid by its members and a grant from the city of Carpentras.
This web site informs you about what is happening in the Association, recalling past events and proposing forthcoming activities. It also offers the possibility for joining the Association.
