Information about the Brexit

As of 1 Ferbruary 2020, the United Kingdom is not any more be a member of the European Union. A transition period is planned until the end of 2020. It is certainly of high interest to the members of our Association and more people, being of English nationality or not, what is happening and what will be the rules between the European Union and the United Kingdom. Therefore, we establish these Brexit pages on our web site and our members are asked to contribute with links and content to this page. This content is about to follow.

pensions paid by the UK to residents in France
The latest position on pensions paid by the UK to residents in France: Living in Europe. The good news is there is no change: If you are living in the EU, EEA or Switzerland by 31 December 2020, and if you receive a UK State Pension, it will continue to be uprated as long as you continue to live there. This will happen even if you start claiming your pension on or after 1 January 2021, as long as you meet the qualifying conditions explained in the new State Pension guidance.
If you are living in the EU, EEA or Switzerland by 31 December 2020, you will continue to receive any UK benefits you already receive. This will continue for as long as you live there and meet all other eligibility requirements.
